>> Fire Police The Silverdale Fire District is supported and strengthened by a twelve member strong Volunteer Fire Police Unit. Not only supporting our fire district, the Silverdale Fire Police Unit, assist the greater Rodney District at larger incidents such as motor vehicle accidents & serious fires. These incidents can often take hours to complete, as they are the last to leave, staying on until the serious crash unit or the fire safety team have concluded their investigations. The Silverdale Fire Police also offer great support to the local commuinty and other organisations when called upon. Like their fellow firefighters, the Fire Police play an important role in serving our community. The Fire Police Van & Trailer:
